Halibut and Shellfish Soup

Saffron perfumes a fragrant broth of shallots, garlic, tomatoes, white wine, clam juice, and vegetable stock. Tender chunks of halibut, sweet shrimp, and briny littleneck clams simmer until the clams open and every bite tastes of the sea.
